FIELD NOTES / 001

Reading the Bestiary.

A compact guide to the language behind the creatures. Think of each entry as a map of information elements, not a verdict on who someone is.

01 / THE IDEA

Many ways
to take in the world.

Socionics describes personality through patterns of information processing. The Academy presents its own sixteen-function lattice: each animal is a variation arranged across four floors of logic, intuition, ethics, and sensing.

The four-letter labels in this collection identify arrangements within the supplied bestiary. They may resemble labels used in other personality systems, but should not be treated as interchangeable definitions.

02 / THE ELEMENTS

Eight symbols.
Four domains.

TeBusiness logic
TiStructural logic
FeEthics of emotions
FiEthics of relations
SeVolitional sensing
SiSensing of experience
NeIntuition of possibilities
NiIntuition of time
03 / THE POSITIONS

Read each floor
right to left.

The rightmost position is 1 · Conscious, followed by 2 · Active, 3 · Reserve, and 4 · Background at the far left. Each symbol's shape represents a domain: square for logic, triangle for intuition, circle for sensing, and an L-mark for ethics.

A filled symbol means extraverted (Ч); an outline means introverted (Б). The plus or minus sign is the shade of content within that direction. White-led, black-led, and mixed filters describe the orientation of conscious elements across the four floors.

04 / THE CREATURES

A shared form,
a different pattern.

Some animals appear more than once. Raven, for example, appears as both INTJ (“The Analyst”) and INFJ (“The Agent”). The shared creature represents a related within-floor template; the type code changes with the arrangement.
